Starting up

Here I am in Jakarta, a place I last visited some 9 years ago. At that time, I was new to DC and both of my parents were living. I've now lived in DC for 11 years..and both of my parents have passed on. I look to this blog to provide me a space for some reflections as to where I am in life...and commentary on the observations I make in daily life.
